The short version
- Forza Horizon 6 comes to PS5 on January 26, 2027, on disc and digital. Pre-orders are open now.
- Premium Edition buyers can play up to five days early, from January 21, and get the first expansion on day one. Every pre-order adds a pre-tuned Ferrari J50.
- In India, it's ₹5,499 for the Standard Edition on the PlayStation Store, up to ₹9,699 for Premium.
The rumor was right
Earlier today we covered a leak pointing to January 26. A few hours later, Playground Games made it official. That means the PS5 version misses the "later this year" window the studio gave in September, and lands about eight months after the Xbox and PC launch on May 19, 2026.

Editions and prices
Prices on the PlayStation Store in India, with US prices for comparison:
- Standard (₹5,499, $69.99): the full game.
- Deluxe (₹7,999, $99.99): adds the Welcome Pack and the Car Pass, which brings 30 extra cars.
- Premium (₹9,699, $119.99): adds VIP Membership, two car packs and both expansions, plus the early access.
The first expansion adds a new location and more cars. Playground hasn't named it yet, but Premium owners on PS5 get it from day one.

What you're getting
This one is set in Japan, with more than 550 real cars. Its Tokyo City is the biggest urban area in any Forza Horizon game, and Mt. Fuji is on the map too.
If you'd rather not wait until January, the game is already out on Xbox Series X|S and PC, and it's on Game Pass.

What to watch: news on any PS5 Pro upgrades, and whether Playground gets its post-launch updates back on track before January.
